IT’S RENEWAL TIME AGAIN!

You’ve got mail! Whether it is a mail box or your inbox, chances are you have already received or will be receiving renewal notices for your permits.

You should receive renewal notices for your IFTA, New Mexico, Oregon and UCR. These permits need to be renewed by January 1, 2010. The states will send you renewal information and deadlines to have the renewal applications back to them. BE ON TIME!  This will assure you of having the proper credentials to start off the new year running legal.

DO NOT COUNT ON ANY EXTENSIONS BEING GRANTED IN 2010!

**As of November 6, 2009, the 2010 UCR fees have not been finalized.  The new fee schedule may possibly be in place by December 1.  Watch your mailbox for UCR renewals or call us with any questions.

Depending on your base state, the renewals for your apportioned plates (IRP) will vary. You will receive notices from your state at least 45 days prior to the expiration dates of your plates. Again, return the renewal application by the deadline to assure that your plates will remain current. The DOT Officers show no mercy for expired plates, no matter what excuse you give them, they have heard it before.

Keep copies of your permits at home in a file. This will benefit you if there are ever any questions concerning your applications or in case of a personal audit. Copy and date everything regarding your individual truck.

Please keep in mind that OOIDA Business Services Department can assist with your renewals for the 2010 year.
