"Land Line Now" is the first daily news and information program designed specifically for America's truck drivers. The show is broadcast nationwide each day on Sirius XM Satellite Radio’s The Road Dog on Sirius XM Channel 106.

Each day's show includes a newscast keyed to the most important and current issues in trucking, national and state legislative analysis, as well as longer pieces that cover everything from truckers' lifestyle to regulatory information.

That package is created by our team of veteran journalists and broadcasters, as well as a range of guests with expertise in the trucking industry.

Our program is produced by the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, the only national organization representing the interests of professional truckers in Washington, DC, in state legislatures and with the regulatory agencies dealing with transportation and highway safety.

In just 3 ½ years on the air, Land Line Now has won more than two dozen local, regional, national and international awards for its work, including:

• A Gold Award, Best of all Radio and Best of All Media awards from the Truck Writers of North America for the 2007 piece “Survivor”;
• A Gold Award and Best of all Radio for the piece “Run for the Wall” in 2008.
• And a Gold Award and Best of all Radio for the 2005 piece “Coal Gasification.”

The program has also won Gold Awards from the Truck Writers of North America for:

• “The Truckers for Troops Telethon,” 2008;
• “The Pirate Truck, Legend of the Black Pearl,” 2006;
• “The Hudgins Holiday Singalong,” 2006;
• “Gun Trucks of Vietnam,” 2006.

And the show has won Gold Awards from the Heart of America Press Awards for:

• “Greensburg: A Trucking Town Faces Disaster,” 2007;
• “The Listener Comment Line,” 2005;
• “Paying for Highways in Pennsylvania,” 2007.

In addition, the program’s “Truckers for Troops Telethon” has raised more than $95,000 in 2 years to send care packages to our troops overseas.
