Competition Rules:

1.  Eligibility:  All active OOIDA members are eligible to participate in the referral competition. Must be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years or older. OOIDA, Bridgestone/Firestone and Fleet One employees, and their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling or child or their respective spouses) or those residing in the same households of employees, whether related or not, board members, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising, promotion and production agencies, members of the media, program partners and vendors are not eligible to enter or to win a prize in this Competition. Competition is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.

2. No limit to number of referrals any single member cardholder can bring in. (The more, the better!)  Winners will be determined by a combined total of all referred OOIDA members accumulated by the participant during the promotion period.

3.  Referred members must be new, FULL OOIDA members at the special discounted referral annual membership fee of $25. ($10 spouse, driver and associate members are excluded from competition totals).  No renewals or $10 driver/spouse members converting to full members.

4.  Joining member must give referring member’s name, OOIDA membership number and/or other identifying information at the time of enrolling or applying in order for referral to be credited. Enrollment or application can be made by phone, mail, Web, or in person at truck shows, the OOIDA truck or offices.

5. Cannot be combined with any other offer such as radio referrals, Members Challenge sponsorships on Land Line Now, etc.  Land Line Now Members Challenge sponsorships will only be counted if referring member specifies an actual name(s) to which one or more of the sponsored memberships are to be applied.

6. Only referrals between promotion dates of March 15, 2008 until Sept. 15, 2008 apply to competition results. No retroactive referrals for those made prior to the start date of promotion.

7. OOIDA membership dues of referred OOIDA member must be paid by Sept. 15, 2008, to count toward competition totals.(No outstanding accounts, declined credit cards, returned checks etc.)

8. Referred member can be applied to only one existing member’s total. 

9. All standard OOIDA referral rewards for referring and referred members still apply (eg. $25 new member fee, points towards OOIDA gear for referring member, etc.) 10.  PRIZE DETAILS: One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) complete set of tractor steer and drive tires. Winner may choose any Bridgestone tire models, excluding Greatec tires. FET is paid by Bridgestone. Demounting old tires and mounting new tires is paid by Bridgestone. Customer may choose any authorized Bridgestone tire dealer.  Delivery will be coordinated Through Bridgestone Fleet Support Center. NO CASH ALTERNATIVE. One (1) Second Prize:  $1,000 of fuel to be provided in the form of a pre-paid Truckers Advantage card. If the winner is already a Truckers Advantage customer, the $1000 will be credited to his/her account. Third (1 each):  An XM satellite radio with one-year subscription. Fourth Prize (1 each): OOIDA denim jacket. Prizes 5-10:  Drawings for OOIDA gear such as jackets, watches, shirts, etc. Random drawings (10 total):  All referring members and newly joining referred members are eligible for 10 end-of-competition drawings for a variety of OOIDA gear and OOIDA branded items.

10. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Prizes are not transferable. Federal, state and local taxes, if any, and all costs and expenses associated with the acceptance or use of any prize not specified herein as being awarded are the sole responsibility of each individual winner.

11. General: By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which are final and binding on all matters. Entry constitutes permission for Sponsor and its designees to use each winner's name, city and state of residence and/or likeness for advertising, promotional and other purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification and permission, except where prohibited by law. BY ENTERING, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT OOIDA, BRIDGESTONE/FIRESTONE, FLEET ONE AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AND ADVERTISING, PROMOTION AND PRODUCTION AGENCIES, AND ALL OF THE RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS OF THE FORGOING ENTITIES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASED PARTIES") WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND WILL BE HELD HARMLESS BY ENTRANTS FOR ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, AND PROPERTY, DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST. If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including bugs, viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, OOIDA reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Competition and to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, violate these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. In the event Competition is terminated, OOIDA reserves the right to award prizes in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received for the applicable drawing up to time of such action.
