The Foundation Inc. of Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) is offering a seminar on Business Management for the owner-operator.  The Small Business Administration statistics point out that 95% of all small business ventures fail within the first year.  The primary reason is a lack of business management skills.  The trucking industry is a unique business with a number of regulations and pitfalls.  

The seminar will offer those drivers looking at becoming owner-operators a practical no-nonsense look at the cost of doing business in the highly competitive trucking industry. The Business Management Seminar will provide the basis for a successful small trucking business. 

The experts in trucking, the employees of OOIDA and the Foundation, will conduct a 3 day seminar open to anyone interested in learning about the business management skills that are unique to the trucking industry.

The seminar will be held at the OOIDA headquarters in Grain Valley, Missouri.

Enrollment is open to OOIDA members and/or their designated representatives.

Enrollment is limited to 25 and enrollment requires full payment.

Cost:
Members or designated representative of member: $450.00
Non-members: $475.00 -- $25.00 will go for one year membership in OOIDA
Spouses may attend, if space available, and pay only for the food ($48)

The cost of the seminar includes breakfast, lunch and snacks for the three days.
