Allegations
Violations of the Truth-in-Leasing regulations based upon: 1) unlawful deductions from owner-operator compensation; 2) unlawful administration of escrow monies; 3) failure to disclose and comply with compensation provisions; 4) forced purchases; and 5) undisclosed, undocumented and excessive charge-backs.
A settlement was reached with FFE and under the terms of the settlement, FFE paid the three members amounts equal to their total claims. They also paid $20,000 to cover a portion of the attorneys’ fees incurred in prosecuting the case.
