Allegations
OOIDA alleged that Heartland Express overcharged for bobtail insurance, Comdata charges, fuel acquired with Comdata card and fuel purchased at company terminal. OOIDA also alleged that Heartland forced the purchase of bobtail insurance and did not disclose the deductions for Comdata in their lease agreement.
The Court entered judgment for OOIDA and the class of drivers. Heartland was ordered to pay $250,000 to the approved class of drivers. The money was received and distributed among the class members.
