Attention: Alabama truckers! Legislation in the state Senate needs your attention.

Under SB8 and SB390, big rigs would be prohibited from driving in an interstate’s left lane. SB8 also includes a provision to create split speeds by reducing the truck limit from 70 mph to 65 mph.
Both bills are in the Senate Commerce, Transportation and Utilities Committee. It is vital you contact the committee members to let them know what lane restrictions and split speeds would mean to road safety.
