4/14/03 - A bill that raises the bar for commercial vehicle inspectors in Colorado is now law.
Gov. Bill Owens has signed HB1071, which requires that anyone conducting a Level 1 inspection in the state be certified by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance.
The bill passed the House Jan. 22, and was approved by the Senate March 4. The governor signed the measure March 20.
