HB185 would apply to drivers 18-21 years of age who have lost their licenses. Those drivers can apply for a limited license that allows them to drive to and from work and school.
The bill is now before the full Senate. If it passes the Senate, it will then go to the governor for his signature.

3/11/03 - The Georgia House has voted for a bill that would loosen restrictions on some younger drivers who have lost their licenses due to speeding violations.
HB185 passed the House March 5 by a vote of 165-2. It now moves to the Senate, where it has been assigned to the Transportation Committee.
