roll back recent increases in Mackinac Bridge tolls and freeze
fairs until 2006-2007.
SB466, sponsored by Sen. Jim Barcia, D-Bay City, would
allow the Mackinac Bridge Authority to continue overseeing bridge maintenance
and operations.
The proposal is one of a five-bill package – SB464-468 – approved
by the Senate. They now go before the House.
