7/28/03-A bill that called for prohibiting
smokers from lighting up in all indoor public places is dead for the
year.
SB5791, sponsored Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe, D-Bothell, would have
forbade smoking in such places as restaurants, bars, bowling alleys,
skating rinks and truckstops.
2/13/03-Legislation
introduced in the Senate would make lighting up in all indoor public
places a no-no.
SB5791, sponsored by ex-smoker and restaurant owner Sen. Rosemary McAuliffe,
D-Bothell, would forbid smoking in such places as restaurants, bars,
bowling alleys, skating rinks and truckstops.
The bill is in the Senate Health and Long-Term Care Committee. For bill
