5/23/03-An Assembly bill would raise speed limits on the state’s
four-lane divided highways.
AB147, sponsored by Rep. Mark Pettis, R-La Follette, increases
the speed limit from 65 mph to 70 mph on the state’s freeways.
The speed limit on expressways would remain at 65 mph.
Speeding fines would range from $50 to $300.
