2/25/04-The Senate adopted SR575, which asks the state Department of Transportation to study converting metro Atlanta’s high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes into high-occupancy toll (HOT) lanes.
Carpoolers still would be allowed to drive the lanes for free, but solo commuters would be able to pay a fee to use the lanes as well.
