5/7/04-A bill intended to keep slowpokes out of the left lane on the state’s multi-lane highways has died.
HB1803, introduced by Rep. Barbara Marumoto, R-District 19, remained in committee at the close of the session that ended May 6, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have given troopers the flexibility to ticket drivers who go too slowly in the left lane, blocking the normal flow of traffic.
