6/21/04-A bill died that would have required every new motor vehicle sold and subject to registration in Iowa after July 1, 2005 to be equipped with daytime running lights.
HB2040, sponsored by Rep. Tom Sands, R-Columbus Junction, remained in the House Transportation Committee at the March 9 deadline for bills to advance out of their originating chamber.
