2/24/04-SB2341 would remove a restriction on who can ride in a car with drivers who are under 18.
Drivers under the age of 18 now receive a graduated driver’s license in the state. Under current state law, during the first six months they have the license, they can have only one passenger in the car, unless the other passengers are a sister, brother or the driver’s child.
The bill, introduced by Sen. J. Bradley Burzynski, R-Sycamore, would remove those restrictions.
