Robert Ehrlich Jr. signed legislation – SB18 – last spring requiring the Maryland Port Administration to provide a report to the General Assembly on or before Dec. 1 of each year, identifying specified risks to transportation security, including proposed safety standards, a timeline for implanting proposed standards, and estimates of the implements costs.
