12/23/04-A bill that would require motorists in Ohio to use their headlights during inclement weather has died.
HB294, sponsored by Rep. Peter Ujvagi, D-Toledo, remained in the House Transportation and Public Safety Committee when the session ended earlier this month, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill sought to require the use of headlights whenever rain, snow, fog or other atmospheric conditions require the use of windshield wipers.
