11/29/04-A bill that would have required motorists in Pennsylvania to use their headlights during inclement weather has died.
SB1056, sponsored by Sen. John Pippy, R-Moon Township, remained in the Senate Transportation Committee when the session ended Nov. 21, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill sought to require the use of headlights whenever rain, snow, fog or other atmospheric conditions require the use of windshield wipers.
