5/3/04-Gov. Mark Warner signed legislation – HB1376 – that gives the Virginia Department of Transportation the flexibility to adjust toll rates to reward drivers who travel in “off-peak hours” such as overnight on roads built under the Public-Private Transportation Act.

3/23/04-A bill that would allow the state to vary toll rates to reward drivers who travel in “off-peak hours” such as overnight is headed to Gov. Mark Warner.
HB1376, sponsored by Delegate William Fralin, R-Roanoke, would give the Virginia Department of Transportation the flexibility to adjust toll rates on roads built under the Public-Private Transportation Act.

3/8/04-The Senate Transportation Committee approved a bill March 4 that would allow the state to vary toll rates to reward drivers who travel in “off-peak hours” such as overnight.
The bill would give the Virginia Department of Transportation the flexibility to adjust toll rates on roads built under the Public-Private Transportation Act.
HB1376, sponsored by Delegate William Fralin, R-Roanoke, passed the House 67-32 Feb. 16. It now heads to the full Senate for consideration.
State lawmakers have until March 13 to vote on all pending legislation.
