7/25/05-A bill that would have allowed municipalities to enforce speed limits within its jurisdiction – including interstate highways – has died.
SB50, sponsored by Sen. Phil Poole, D-Moundville, remained in the Senate Judiciary Committee when the session ended, effectively killing it for the year.
