4/19/05-S732 has been incorporated into a similar House bill – HB157.

4/1/05-A bill awaiting approval before the full Senate is intended to keep slow drivers out of the fast lane.
S732, sponsored by Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton, previously won approval by two House panels.
Dubbed the “Road Rage Reduction Act,” the bill would give law enforcement more authority to ticket drivers who block traffic, even if they are driving the speed limit.
Those who lag in the left lane could be ticketed and fined $60 with four points against their driver’s licenses.
The law would not apply when there are no other vehicles in the left lane.
