5/5/05-A bill has died that would have increased the speed limit for all vehicles on designated state highways from 65 mph to 70 mph.
SB1082, sponsored by Sen. Skipper Brandt, R-Kooskia, remained in the Senate Transportation Committee at the close of the session, effectively killing it for the year.

4/1/05-A bill before the Senate Transportation Committee that would increase the speed limit for all vehicles on designated state highways from 65 mph to 75 mph is facing an uphill battle.
SB1082, sponsored by Sen. Skipper Brandt, R-Kooskia, has remained in the committee since it was introduced two months ago. As lawmakers are looking to wrap up their work for the year, the bill appears to be dead in the water.
