7/20/05-A bill in the House Transportation Committee would require a manufacturer of a new motor vehicle sold or leased in this state equipped with one or more recording devices commonly referred to as “event data recorders,” or “black boxes,” to disclose that fact in the owner’s manual for the vehicle.
H2092, sponsored by Rep. David Torrisi, D-North Andover, would also restrict the use of information retrieved.
