5/10/05-The Senate has approved a bill that would prohibit drivers from screening sexually explicit material that can be seen or heard by anyone within 100 feet of the vehicle.
Under SB131, sponsored by Sen. Alan Sanborn, R-Richmond Township, anyone found in violation of the rule would face up to a $1,500 fine for a first offense and up to a $5,000 fine for a second offense. Third and subsequent offenders could face up to 93 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $10,000.
