10/13/05-The Legislature approved $106 million in direct rebates to taxpayers in the recently completed special session.
Lawmakers sent to Gov. Bill Richardson a bill – HB10 – that would give taxpayers a rebate check anywhere from $64 to $289, an average of $125.
If signed by the governor, checks are likely to be mailed out by early November.
