7/14/05-Gov. Bill Richardson signed a bill – HB806 – into law this spring increasing the state’s trip tax by 4 cents a mile.
The new law, which took effect July 1, increases the tax for trucks weighing more than 72,000 pounds. The rate now is 16 cents a mile.
