12/2/05-Gov. George Pataki recently signed a bill into law requiring manufacturers of vehicle “black boxes” to disclose the installation of a vehicle data recording device.
The new law, previously S850, is intended to protect the privacy of owners of automobiles and trucks who may not be aware that their vehicle is equipped with a recording device.
