Update - South Dakota Members
October
24, 2005
Attention: South Dakota truckers! You may want to plan an extra stop in the state during the next few weeks to discuss the 2003 Motor Carrier Satisfaction assessment as well as current trucking regulations.
The South Dakota Departments of Public Safety and Motor Vehicles are inviting the general public, along with private and commercial transportation carriers, to take part.
The first of the meetings took place Monday, Oct. 17, but three more opportunities to attend remain:
- Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Sioux Falls at 7 p.m. CDT in the West Room at the Holiday Inn City Centre International;
- Monday, Nov. 7, in Rapid City at 7 p.m. MDT in the Lincoln Room at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel; and
- Monday, Nov. 14, in Pierre at 7 p.m. CDT in Gallery C at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel.
The meetings are billed as an opportunity "to answer any motor carrier questions, while discussing customer satisfaction and South Dakota's weight enforcement program."
For more information, visit the Department of Public Safety online at www.state.sd.us/dps or call Captain Pat Fahey at (605) 773-3105.
