6/27/05-A bill that would have restricted big rigs to the right-most lanes of interstate or multilane divided highways, expect when passing has died.
HB349, sponsored by Rep. J. Chris Newton, R-Cleveland, remained in the House Transportation Committee at the end of the session, effectively killing it for the year.
Violators could have been subject to a $50 fine.
An identical House bill – SB792 – met the same fate.

Under HB349, sponsored by Rep. J. Chris Newton, R-Cleveland, violators could be subject to a $50 fine.
