8/26/05-A new law creates a traffic violation for driving around a barricade put on the road because of dangerous conditions. It also makes it a Class B misdemeanor if a person drives around a barricade because water is over any portion of a roadway.
The new law, previously HB1481, takes effect Sept. 1.
