2/25/05-A measure requesting a study on reducing motor vehicle emissions has died.
Senate Journal 283, introduced by Sen. Linda Puller, D-Mount Vernon, remained in the Senate Rules Committee Feb. 8 at the deadline for measures to pass out of committee, effectively killing it for the year.
It called for allowing the Department of Environmental Quality to study the costs and benefits of adopting air pollution standards for automobiles in Northern Virginia.
