3/1/06-The House Transportation Committee voted 5-3 Feb. 16 to reject a bill that would reduce the fine for drivers caught speeding by automated systems from $157 to $100.
HB2411, sponsored by Rep. David Burnell Smith, R-Scottsdale, called for no points to be added to speeders’ licenses and their insurance companies wouldn’t have been notified.
