2/15/06-The Senate Transportation Committee voted Feb. 14 to kill a bill – SB1507 – that would have allotted $15 million from the State Highway Transportation Fund to hire 100 state police officers.

2/3/06-Sen. Dean Martin, R-Phoenix has introduced a bill that would allot $15 million from the State Highway Transportation Fund to hire 100 state police officers.
SB1507 is in the Senate Appropriations, Transportation and Rules committees.
