5/30/06-A bill died in the Assembly Revenue and Taxation Committee that sought to eliminate the state’s sales tax on gasoline. A provision to include the same price break for diesel fuel purchases was dropped in the committee.
Sponsored by Assemblywoman Audra Strickland, R-Moorpark, AB2621 remained in committee at the May 26 deadline to advance to the Assembly floor.
