4/25/06-A bill in the House Transportation & Economic Development Appropriations Committee would authorize counties throughout the state to vote on higher rental vehicle fees. Revenue would be used for local transportation projects.
Sponsored by Rep. John Quinones, R-Kissimmee, HB301 would increase the cost of rental vehicles by $2 per day in counties that approve it.
