3/28/06- The House unanimously approve a bill Tuesday, March 28, that is intended to make 25 percent of all fuel sold in the state either ethanol or biodiesel blends by 2025.
HF2759 would spend $6 million over three years to help retailers install pumps and tanks to handle renewable fuels and would create various tax credits for retailers who sell the fuels.
The bill has been sent to the Senate for further consideration. For bill status, call (515) 281-5129.
