5/5/06-A bill that would have increased the speed limit on certain roadways has died.
Sponsored by Sen. Steve Kettering, R-Lake View, SF2015 remained in the Senate Transportation Committee when the session ended May 4, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have boosted the speed limit from 55 to 60 mph on the state’s primary, two-lane highways.
