2/3/06-A bill has died that would have required a public question to be put on the November 2006 ballot asking voters whether they prefer the Eastern or Central time zone.
HB1057, sponsored by Rep. Steve Heim, R-Culver, remained in committee Feb. 2, missing the deadline to advance from the House.
The bill would have made the question non-binding.
