3/24/06-The House Judiciary Committee rejected a bill that would have required distinctive license plates with the letters “DUI” on vehicles driven by people with restricted driving privileges due to convictions for driving under the influence.
HB1315 would have permitted police to make random stops on vehicles displaying the special license plates.
