5/15/06-The House Ways and Means Committee removed a provision from a transportation funding bill that would have increased the per-gallon price of motor fuels.
HF3761, which the House Taxes Committee previously approved, called for increasing the tax by 3 cents July 1 and another 3 cents July 1, 2007.
