5/12/06-A bill that would have prohibited drivers from passing over the double yellow line on roadways has died.
HB1143, sponsored by Rep. Neal St. Onge, R-Ellisville, remained in the House Transportation Committee when the session ended.
The bill would have allowed drivers to cross the double yellow line for left turns.

1/31/06-A bill in the House Transportation Committee would prohibit drivers from passing over the double yellow line on roadways. Violators would face a $500 fine.
