3/20/06-A bill has died that sought to provide funding for a training class of Highway Patrol officers.
HB211 remained in the Senate Appropriations Committee March 14, the deadline to advance to the full Senate. It previously passed the House.
Sponsored by Rep. Johnny Stringer, D-Montrose, the bill called for appropriating $3 million to equip and train at least 50 new troopers.
