3/13/06-A bill has died that would have allowed police to ticket drivers who fail to flip on their headlights during bad weather.
HB357 remained in the House Transportation Committee at the deadline to advance to the full House, effectively killing it for the year.
The bill would have required lights to be on “whenever precipitation necessitates the use of windshield wipers.”
A similar Senate bill – SB2331 – met the same fate.

1/10/06-A bill in the House Transportation Committee would allow police to ticket drivers who fail to flip on their headlights during bad weather.
