7/6/06-A bill in the Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House Committee would authorize a toll plaza to be placed on Interstate 95 at the border between Virginia and North Carolina.
HB1925 is sponsored by Rep. Bill Owens, D-Elizabeth City.
The Virginia Legislature approved a similar bill this year. If North Carolina lawmakers also pass the bill it would need final authorization from Congress.
