6/5/06-A bill awaiting a final vote on the Assembly floor would allow county and local police in the state to use photo radar devices to flag speeders.
Sponsored by Assemblyman Reed Gusciora, D-Mercer, A2064 would authorize cameras to be used to snap images of vehicles exceeding the speed limit. A minimum $54 ticket would be mailed to vehicles’ owners, regardless who was driving at the time.
