1/10/07-A new law allows drivers to be fined for failure to clear snow and ice off their vehicles if someone is injured or killed as a result. Under the new law, previously HB121, violators would face a fine between $200 and $1,000, per occurrence. Existing state law only requires that the windshield be cleared.
