6/20/06-Gov. Jim Doyle has signed a bill into law that allows law enforcement to test people involved in certain vehicle wrecks that result in serious injuries or death for the presence of alcohol or drugs. The new rule already is in effect.
Previously SB611, the new law states that refusal to permit testing could result in arrest for “operating while intoxicated.”
