3/6/06-The Senate Transportation Committee voted 23-10 to kill a bill that sought to stop the agency that oversees the West Virginia Turnpike from issuing more bonds.
The purpose of the bill – SB432 – was to prevent authorization of bonds which would require an increase in the tolls above the rate existing Dec. 31, 2005.
