3/30/07-Gov. Mike Beebe has signed a bill into law that requires drivers to signal before changing lanes.
The new law, previously HB1716, allows police to issue tickets to anyone who does not use a turn signal when changing lanes on roadways.

3/19/07-A bill headed to Gov. Mike Beebe's desk would require drivers to signal before changing lanes. It received widespread support in both chambers.
Sponsored by Rep. Mark Pate, D-Bald Knob, HB1716 would allow police to issue tickets to anyone who does not use a turn signal when changing lanes on roadways.
